A decrease in the number of students choosing a scientific path is threatening the future of European research. In order to tackle this problem, female researchers in the UK have been setting up tens of associations to increase the presence and role of women in Science. The documentary shows what a talented physicist and musician, Dr Wendy Sadler, does to spur girls on to scientific studies. Ms Sadler was awarded the Welsh Woman of the Year (Science and Technology) and also won the WISE excellence award for promoting science to girls and women, and the IOP Young Professional Physicist of the Year award in 2005 for working with the community.
