How to use this website

youris.com is a professional service for TV broadcasters and TV producers. But also teachers, students, learners, curious minds, everyday people are all welcome to visit our website!

Watching
youris.com is a video streaming portal on European research and innovation. Viewing is therefore the most important feature of the site. Every video can be viewed by just clicking on the large image in the home page or at the individual subject page.

Labels
Some videos are labeled:
New release - the video has been recently released.
Vintage - archive video, whose content is not any longer reflecting state-of-the-art innovation and/or technological and scientific recent developments.

Ordering
TV broadcasters and some TV producers can order the teasers and the associated B-rolls (8 to 12 minutes duration).

Downloading
By May 2008 we will make all teasers downloadable by all site user in flash (.flv) format. Downloading of teasers might be useful for educational or demonstration purposes, and addresses a large baseline of users, not only TV broadcasters and producers.


News
Every single subjects provides a specific automeated media news service, surfing major world on-line magazines, newspaper and news resources to return most recent world information on the topic.

Shot List
This section includes the shot list of the B-rolls associated to each video, to facilitate editing of the B-rolls to build own programs on the subject.

Dopesheet
The same as the Shot List, but including a proposed commentary to illustrate the subject and enable TV editors to achieve a better focus on the subject.
