Who we are

youris.com is an independent private media service delivering Video News Releases (VNRs), press wires and on-line resources on European leading-edge scientific and technological innovation to the European media.

youris.com was launched in January 2005 and rapidly became the de-facto European standard for VNRs production and distribution and as a highly scaleable platform for large research institutions and organisations.

youris.com owns a large network of national correspondents at national and local TV station, as well as a distribution mechanism able to cover the totality of European countries and of the Mediterranean area. The service complies with the satellite distribution requirements of the Eurovision World Feeds and is one of the service providers of the pan-European TV station Euronews.

youris.com products are easily adaptable to national and local editorial and TV broadcasting needs: the service provides a 90-seconds trailer complemented by 8- to 12-minutes footage enabling target TV station and programs to build their own reportages with their own editing and in their own language, with high localisation potential.

Over the last 3 years, we tracked more than 700 TV broadcasts on national TV stations in 36 different countries, including the US.

youris.com is a brand entirely owned by iCons srl, operating in co-operation with Gedeon Programmes SA and Leonardo Film GmbH. The service is sponsored by the Ecole des Mines de Paris (except for Society and Technologies sections) and is financially supported by the European Commission, DG Information Society, DG Research and DG Transport and Energy.
