His responsibilities include the management of the foundation’s grant programs, including the Transatlantic Networks of Excellence Program, which supports internationally collaborative research in cardiovascular and neurovascular disease. With Martin Landaluce he represents the interest of the Leducq Family Trust in the Broadview Ventures organization.
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Tancredi completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Cincinnati before working on the staff of the emergency department of Massachusetts General Hospital. He has a Ph.D. in sociocultural anthropology from the University of Chicago, and an abiding interest in modern medical care in traditional settings.
