Corinna Barnstedt

I grew up in the USA and Switzerland before moving to Germany.  After obtaining a honour’s degree in geography from the University of Hamburg, I took a journalism traineeship at JahresZeiten Verlag.

I then started writing articles, mainly on scientific topics, for national newspapers and magazines such as Der Spiegel and the Hamburger Abendblatt.

In 2009, I decided to combine my passion for science stories on an international level and joined Leonardo Film. Working since then as a producer, I have been engaged in the development and production of international documentaries shown on ARTE, WDR, Radio Bremen and the Public Television Service in Taiwan. In 2010, I took part at to the World Congress of Science Producers as Emerging Talent.
